Terms of Service

Last updated : August 26, 2026

1. Who publishes Onlyscan

Onlyscan ("the Service") is published and operated by LCDV Limited ("we", "us", "our"). By using Onlyscan, you enter into a contract with LCDV Limited. For any question: contact@onlyscan.fr.

2. Description of the service

Onlyscan lets you create static and dynamic QR codes, customize their design, export them (PNG, SVG) and, for dynamic QR codes, change their destination after printing and view scan statistics.

3. Acceptance of the terms

By creating an account, using the Service, or subscribing to a plan, you accept these terms. If you disagree, do not use the Service. By continuing to use Onlyscan after an update to these terms, you accept the version then in force.

You represent that you are of legal age or, if acting on behalf of an organization, that you have the authority to bind it.

4. Your account

  • You provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and for any activity carried out from your account.

5. License and prohibited uses

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service, within the limits of your chosen plan. It is forbidden to:

  • use the Service for illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, or spam purposes;
  • direct a QR code to illegal, malicious (malware, phishing), hateful content, or content infringing the rights of others;
  • undermine the Service's security: intrusion, unauthorized vulnerability testing, bypassing technical limits, mass scraping, deliberate overload;
  • resell, redistribute, or reverse-engineer the Service.

6. User content

You remain the owner of the content you upload (destination URL, logos, text). You warrant that you hold the necessary rights and grant us a limited license to host and process this content solely to provide the Service. We may remove content that is manifestly unlawful or reported by a rights holder; repeated infringements lead to account suspension. Reports: contact@onlyscan.fr.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, its code, rendering engine, interface, documentation, and brand remain our exclusive property. No intellectual property right is transferred to you beyond the usage license described above.

8. Availability

We do our best to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Interruptions may occur for maintenance, updates, or external causes. To the extent permitted by law, all implied warranties (merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose) are excluded.

9. Payment, subscription, and billing

Subscriptions are monthly, with no commitment, and automatically renew until canceled. Prices are shown on the Pricing page.

Order processing is handled by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record (official seller) for all our orders. Paddle handles all customer service requests and returns.

Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund terms are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. See also our refund policy.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access in case of:

  • serious breach of these terms;
  • non-payment;
  • security or fraud risk;
  • repeated or serious violations of our usage rules.

You may cancel at any time from your subscription area. Once access ends, your dynamic QR codes stop redirecting and your data may be deleted after a reasonable export period.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is capped at the amounts you paid us during the 12 months preceding the triggering event. Indirect, special, or consequential damages (loss of profits, data, customers, or reputation) are excluded. No limitation applies in cases of fraud, personal injury, or death, or where prohibited by law.

12. Indemnification

You indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or a breach of these terms.

13. Miscellaneous

You may not assign this contract without our consent; we may assign it as part of a merger, sale, or reorganization. We are not liable for a failure caused by an event beyond our reasonable control (force majeure).

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute shall be brought before the competent courts of the publisher's domicile, subject to protective rules applicable to consumers.
